Q1: The background is in focus, but very dark. The photos also very grainy, so it's difficult to look at. Q2: The shutter speed is too long, so the pinwheel is blurry and showing a lot of movement, while nothing else is. Q1: The background is equally as dark, but is now out of focus and gives more attention to the main aspect of the photo - the girl. It's still very grainy, though, and is not that great of quality. Q2: The shutter speed is much quicker, so the pinwheel is now actually in focus and isn't blurry. It looks like it isn't moving at all now. Q1: Honestly, it doesn't look like anything changed. The photo's a bit darker, but equally in focus. The background is still very grainy. Q1: The photo is MUCH darker now, which I didn't even think would be a possibility over how dark the others already were. I can barely see the bright yellow slide in the background, and the pinwheel is blurry again. I think this was due to the shutter speed being very long, along with a large f stop and overcast settings. The ISO should've helped at least a little, though, so I'm tempted to say it's lighter than it would've been with ISO 100. Q1: I can finally see the background! Yay! The photo is much lighter, and in correct focus - the background is blurred and the you can see the girl clearly. The pinwheel is blurry, so I'd make the shutter speed shorter - but we're getting somewhere. Q1: It's dark again.. I thought we were getting somewhere, and like it might get better, but when I saw that the mode would be "dim indoors" I got a little nervous. Understandably so, its very dark and I can't really tell whats going on at all. The only thing I can really see is the highlights of the girls face and the bright purple of the pinwheel. Q1: it's now super light, but it's also very grainy and blurry. It's probably grainy due to how high the ISO is, and probably blurry due to the large shutter speed. The brightness I'm confused by, considering the setting is still dim indoors. On my camera, usually longer shutter speeds are brighter, so that's probably why. 8-10:
8: Shutter speed 1/160, aperture 5.6, and ISO 200. Quicker shutter speeds make the photo lighter? 9: Nevermind, quicker shutter speeds make things darker. Changed the shutter speed to 1/4000. 10:
